Those that came last year tell me they had a good time, so come again this year and bring your friends. I promise it will be even better.

My concept when I became Chairman was to develop the very unique mix of types of boat we have race Mersea Week which we started last year and this year are adding dinghy multi-hulls.

Always a man for a party we experimented last year with entertainment in the afternoons. Some things worked some did not. This year from end of racing to prize giving the WMYC will have live acoustic music and games on the lawn. It will be fun for all the family in a festival atmosphere.

Food and drink will be available and the Yacht Club are pulling out all the stops to ensure you get both quickly.

Dabchicks is where the social and parties will be after prize giving in the evening. So get down there and party!!

A few important thanks. Firstly the clubs, secondly my hard working committee but most important secretary Wendy Bolton without whom the week would not happen. I am officially designating the event hug Wendy week as well.
