Competitors should be aware that the Launch Services provided by WMYC and West Mersea Marine are bound by their respective licences.

Each Launch can only take a maximum of 12 passengers at any one time and this limit will be strictly adhered to by all concerned.

Therefore please allow extra time, particularly at peak periods, to ensure that this position is not compromised. No sob stories accepted!

It is hoped that extra launches can be provided during Mersea Week with a service commencing at approximately 08.30, and late afternoon to ease the pressure on the “scheduled” launches. The same capacity limitations will apply.

Competitors are requested to note that the Mersea Week Committee is comprised of volunteers who have given of their free time throughout the year to ensure the success of the Week. Competitors are respectfully reminded to be aware of this at all times.
