We hope all competitors will take part in the
WEST MERSEA TOWN REGATTA
This Mersea Tradition dates back to 1838. This is an action packed day starting with sailing races in the morning,
watersport events in the afternoon and waterside attractions and refreshments all day.
A Grand Firework Display takes place at dusk. Please give generously to the bucket collection, as this is the only
funding for the display.
This years Waterside Attractions include displays and stalls on the car park, the Bocking Concert Brass Band, Bert Stock's Fair,
Refreshmens and RNLI Souvenirs at the Old Lifeboat Station as well as Regatta T-Shirts, Sweat Shirts and Polo Shirts on sale.
A Regatta Programme containing all of the Regatta details including the Sailing and Watersports Entry Form, along with numerous
interesting articles of local events past and present is available. This can be obtained from the Town Regatta Programme which can
be obtained from West Mersea Yacht Club, Dabchicks Sailing Club, the Chandlers and many shops in West Mersea.
Visit the Town regatta website www.mersearegatta.org.uk
for more details.
