I agree that the Mersea Week Committee and the Organising Authorities have no responsibility for loss of life, or injury to me, my crew or others or for the loss of, or damage to, any vessel or property. By entering, the Helm declares they agree to be bound by the racing rules of sailing and all other rules that govern this event, including but not restricted to the bye laws of the West Mersea Yacht Club & Dabchicks Sailing Club. I also affirm that I have read in its entirety, the Notice of Race and agree to its provisions and that my boat will conform to its requirements, including NOR 9 throughout the event. It is my own judgement as to whether to start, continue or retire from the race.
